Hi there, I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering indepth online therapy.
I offer relationally focussed therapy to help you navigate and reflect on the difficulties or problems you may be experiencing. You might be seeking support for a range of issues from anxiety and depression to feelings of bereavement, experiences of abuse or intrusive thoughts. Together we would explore these and empower you to work towards healing and growth.

About me and my practice
You might be seeking support for a range of issues from anxiety and depression to feelings of bereavement, experiences of abuse or intrusive thoughts. Perhaps you are carrying a burden of pain, sadness, grief, or fear that you long to understand the roots of and move on from. I have knowledge and training to support you if you have experienced spiritual and religious abuse and religious trauma. Regardless of your reason for seeking counselling, together we would seek to be gently curious seeking to uncover why you think, feel, and behave as you do, thereby increasing your self-awareness. Therapy with me would empower you to work through your particular challenges at a pace that you feel comfortable with.
I believe a relationship of trust between me and you is important. In our sessions I will hold your story with care, exploring how to make sense of what has brought you to therapy. I will offer you a welcoming space to be heard, known and valued. We will work together to explore your desires and goals in therapy. I will not tell you should do or think, but rather guide you in developing a deeper understanding about yourself so that you can make the choices and decisions that align with your unique needs
I bring experience in addressing the challenges and difficulties associated with life in high-control religious environments and spiritually abusive faith communities. I understand that for many, spiritual or religious beliefs and experiences are integral to their well-being, but for others, they can be sources of or contributors to life's struggles. Whatever your spiritual and religious experiences they will be explored sensitively and respectfully.
I approach all my clients with unconditional acceptance, recognising the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, religious and spiritual beliefs, or life choices. My counselling space is safe and welcoming for those who identify as LGBTQI+.
Experience
I understand that considering counselling is a significant step, and taking that step is even more momentous. I recall the first time I made that choice, and I'm here to support you in your journey. Qualifications
Qualifications:
Masters of Research in Counselling and Psychotherapy;
Dissertation on Psychological practitioners experiences of working with spiritual crisis and spiritual abuse
Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling Studies
Continuing professional development including:
Fundamentalist religious childhoods and adult health: Implications for practice in one-to one encounters (CPCAB endorsed training with Dr Gill Harvey)

Fees are £50.00 per session
However, concessions rates are available. Please feel free to discuss this with me.
I offer a free initial telephone session to discuss your desired outcome from therapy

Appointments are available Tuesdays and weekends 8-8pm.
